Challenge
Coastal location presented difficult ground conditions including loose sandy soils, high groundwater levels, and potential for liquefaction. Heavy turbine foundation loads required careful settlement analysis.

Executed extensive investigation including 28 boreholes, continuous CPT profiles, and comprehensive laboratory testing. Liquefaction potential analysis using multiple methodologies provided robust design recommendations.
